Today, more than ever, museums are facing challenges protecting their growing collections while placing an increased emphasis on visible storage. This presentation explores market trends and challenges faced by museum professionals, and how efficient space design can optimize workflows and collections preservation. Participants will see real-world examples of how structural and risk management issues can be addressed, in addition to gaining an understanding of how furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) can support efficiency and sustainability goals, helping to achieve LEED® certification.
